I’m pretty sure I was given a fountain pen by one of my parents when I started first grade—they’re supposed to help with your handwriting, make it tidier and nicer. best trip ever!

So last week, I was in New York, and it was AMAZING. My mom had a few days off, and we got to do a bunch of really cool things, the most awesome of which was going to see Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen in Waiting for Godot, and then getting my photo taken with Sir Ian. 😀 😀 😀 BEST. an experiment in knitting

I’ve been trying to find something to knit, but lately, everything I’ve tried has ended up getting frogged before I got even a quarter of the way through. I don’t know what it is, nothing just seems to hold my attention. But winter is coming (or, well, it’s already here, really) and I need a hat (among other things) because all my old hats are stretched out and loose and don’t really keep my ears warm when they’re supposed to.
