needs more explosions

I made banana nut bread today, for the first time ever. I used a recipe from 101 Cookbooks (this one, using Cointreau-soaked raisins instead of rum, and regular milk instead of coconut milk (it’s really hard to find good coconut milk here, I weep), and walnuts instead of pumpkin seeds. My grandparents both seemed kinda dubious about it, but so far, they seem to like it. They’re both very traditional as far as cooking goes, so stuff like banana bread is totally new and unknown to them. But since we had bananas going black, and grandpa wanted to throw them out, I figured I might as well give it a try. And it was AWESOME. Will definitely have to make it again.
